About Moraira

Moraira is a picturesque coastal town on Spain’s Costa Blanca, known for its stunning beaches, crystal-clear waters, and charming Mediterranean atmosphere. With a blend of traditional Spanish culture and modern amenities, it offers a relaxed lifestyle surrounded by natural beauty.

Climate

The town of Moraira is located on the Costa Blanca and, together with Teulada, located 4 kilometers inland, forms one municipality in the province of Valencia. The village has been spared high-rise buildings and has therefore been able to retain part of its authentic character. The tallest buildings in Moraira have five or six floors. The majority of holiday homes consist of villas, which usually have their own swimming pool.

Moraira has three beaches, all three of which are located near the center. Thanks to the slow deepening of the sea, the seawater in the surf is on average 1 to 2 degrees warmer than the official seawater temperature. In the middle of summer it is around 25-26 degrees Celsius.

The Mediterranean climate in this fishing village on the Costa Blanca is labeled by the World Health Organization as one of the healthiest in the world. Like the rest of the Costa Blanca, Moraira is blessed with more than 300 sunny days a year and warm but not too hot days in the summer months, mainly due to the sea breeze.
